*** starring the GECDSB's very own Mr. RRRibbit ***
The EARTH PATROL is a dedicated group of Prince Edward Public School students who give up much of their free time to ensure that our school is being environmentally responsible.  Each week the Earth Patrol helps our school collect and organize all of our recycle material for curb-side pick-up.  The Earth Patrol takes care of our two nature areas featuring native plants, rock seating, bird feeders, bird houses, a bat box, and a school vegetable garden.  We collect dead batteries for proper disposal with EWSWA.   We collect empty ink and toner cartridges for recycling by Staples Business Depot.  We collect juice pouches for recycling by TerraCycle.  We encourage litterless lunches through Wasteless Wednesdays.  We teach our younger students how to be 'green'.  We read articles and listen to guest speakers to learn about our local environment.  We are encouraged in what we do by staff and students who support our 'green goals'.

Our motto is "Let's all be proud Pacers for the planet."
